In the year 2025 Donald Trump has been reelected as President of the United States, and his first order of business? Expand the empire - including the annexation of Canada.

Welcome to Maple Resistance, an indie text-based adventure where your wit, diplomacy, and strategic thinking are your only weapons. As a Canadian politician, your mission is to engage in intense dialogues with President Trump, collect and use political actions, and secure Canada's sovereignty.

This is a prototype to test AI and creating a simple card mechanic.

Known issues in the prototype:

• If dialogue is closed too early in some cases it will still appear on screen.
• When talking with "the Canadian public" they may forget who they are. This is kinda funny, but it's unintentional.
• There are probably typos and a plethora of various bugs. It's a prototype after all.
